Editorial Standards
How pieces are researched, what we will not print, and how paid placements are handled.
Sourcing
Every explainer is built from primary material: protocol documentation, standards, court and regulator publications, and the code or specifications themselves. Figures that change week by week — prices, yields, fees in dollars — are left out on purpose, because a page that quotes them is wrong a month later.
Corrections
If a page is wrong, we change it and say what changed. Write to the desk with the address of the page and what you believe is inaccurate; we would rather fix a sentence than defend it.
Paid placements and links
Some pages on this domain are guest or partner material, and some carry paid links. They are marked, they
carry rel="nofollow", and they never appear inside an explainer as a recommendation. Payment buys
placement, never an opinion, and never a change to an existing article. Advertisers see no draft before
publication. Terms are on the publish with us page.
How pages are made
Drafting is assisted by software; every piece is checked against its sources and edited before it is published, and the desk is answerable for what appears. Photographs come from freely licensed archives and are credited under each image.
Risk and advice
Nothing here is financial, legal or tax advice. Crypto assets are volatile and, in many countries, outside investor protection. Pages in Crypto Gaming describe gambling products; gambling is restricted in many jurisdictions and is for adults only.
